A main key component of organizational behavior is job satisfaction, which is the general key factor for considering happiness and fulfillment that workers feel at work. It can significantly affect an individual's performance, productivity, and organizational outcomes. It is a significant measure of employee well-being. An in-depth examination of work satisfaction may assist businesses in performing organizational diagnostics, which can then be used to enhance present operations and management and also positive and negative work characteristics mediate the relationship between emotional regulation and job satisfaction (Konstantinos & Zampetakis, 2008). Bakotic & Babic (2013) found that for the workers who work under difficult working conditions, working condition is an important factor for job satisfaction, so workers under difficult working conditions are dissatisfied through this factor.

Importance of job satisfaction

Job satisfaction is more essential because it contributes to employee productivity, motivation, and engagement. When employees are satisfied with their job role, they are more likely to be productive and motivated to do their work best. Additionally, job satisfaction can lead to higher levels of employee engagement, which can convert into better customer service and organizational success. In order to create a satisfied working environment, it is important to assess what employees value in their job roles and working responsibilities. Furthermore, organizations should strive to make a positive work environment where employees feel supported and appreciated to the organization without any managerial effect.

The quality of work and employee performance are influenced by job satisfaction. Higher job performance is more likely to be displayed by contented workers because they have a positive feedback, take pleasure in their work, and want to do well. They also have a higher propensity to actively seek out chances for advancement, skill building, and ongoing improvements.

In generally, well-being and work-related attitudes of employees are intimately linked to their job satisfaction. Stress, burnout, and anxiety related to the job are typically lower among satisfied workers. These employees have a sense of accomplishment, view their work favorably, and have more job stability and security than others.

Organizational culture is also mainly affects on the job satisfaction. Job satisfaction is fostered development , encouraging culture that prioritizes the growth, recognitions, and well-being of its employees. Employee satisfaction is higher organization that are place a high priority on developing a positive work environment, encouraging effective communication, and offering best opportunities for upgrade and work-life balance.

4. Employee motivation and high productivity

Employee motivation and output are directly impacted to the job satisfaction. When employees are happy with their job role, they are more likely to be in motivated, excited, and dedicated to completing to done their work successfully.

Employee involvement and loyalty to the company are directly impact with job satisfaction. Employees that are happy in their positions are more likely to be emotionally connect in their work, employee morale to achieve targets, and dedicated to accomplishing company objectives. Employee commitment and engagement raise performance, productivity, and organizational success.

Reason of employer should care about employee job satisfaction

In the fields of management and organizational behavior, one of the most widely used method is job satisfaction. This method has been used by employee in managerial or leadership roles to determine their human resource policies. It is a valuable tool for assessing company culture and identifying areas in need to development. Job satisfaction is linked to the work and its surroundings, giving managers more influence over decisions, whereas motivation is more individualized and may include factors outside their control. 

Advantage of job satisfaction

  1. High production output
  2. Reduce employee turnover
  3. Less absenteeism
  4. Less unionization
  5. Less human accident while operations
  6. It helps improving better working environment
  7. Enhance customer satisfaction
  8. Sustainable growth

Disadvantage of job satisfaction

  1. Never try challengers except comfort zone due to being adapted.
  2. Refuse to challenge myself
  3. Continuing same job so far, unable to do another job role properly.
  4. Less experience related job role
  5. Minor thinking abilities

According to job satisfaction has two sides either employee creates a happiness or organization support to create employee happiness.

A thorough approach to data asset management reduces risks, maximize trust, and enhance business to fully utilize the value of their consumer data. Apart from that modern organization implement new technologies and technical tools like 6S, Lean, TPM and AI also help to analyze employee data, Therefore employer able get decision easily and able to forecast future goals also.
